Dr. Matthias Heitz has several years of experience with a leading automotive manufacturer and worked in strategy and management consulting prior to his M&A activities. Prior to that, he worked in the banking sector, where he supported, among others, medium-sized companies in the context of their expansion into Asia. 

He also completed his doctorate on the topic of corporate governance / sustainable corporate management in the automotive industry at the University of Augsburg and has published in the areas of M&A, risk culture and risk management, among others.

He completed his studies in Business Administration (focus on Banking and Finance), as well as International Accounting in the UK.

Today, Dr. Matthias Heitz is a lecturer for International Business and Corporate Management at the University of Applied Sciences Munich.
